Probably Popeye's signature fried chicken, not so much because it's great, but it comes from an era where most fried chicken chains were good - now the others are defunct, or inedible, so it's like the last decent fried chicken survivor in mainstream fast food.

Popeyes' Signature Fried Chicken is bone-in chicken marinated in Louisiana-style seasonings and fried to a shatter-crisp crust. Widely considered the best fried chicken in fast food and the standard against which KFC is constantly measured, it's the item that built the chain and the reason people will drive past three other chicken spots to get to a Popeyes. Nutrition based on chicken breast piece.

I love Popeyes fried chicken, nice crunch but not dry, goes great with the sides.
Popeyes Signature Fried Chicken stood out to me the most because I remember when people would pile up in drive-thrus trying to get their hands on this when the sandwich version of this first came out.
Popeyes fried chicken is a standout. The crunch of the breading was just right and not greasy. Well seasoned. Succulent chicken.
The Popeye's chicken stood out because I actually enjoy their food.
LET'S BE HONEST, If a restaurant opened up near you with fried chicken like Popeyes, it would be celebrated as the best fried chicken restaurant in the country. I think we take for granted Popeye's shatter crisp crust with juicy chicken. Here is a hack: Sometimes I am in the mood for Korean style fried chicken (for their sauce), I just buy a jar of the sauce but buy Popeye's fried chicken because -NO ONE DOES FRIED CHICKEN BETTER!!
